If you plan to make the Summerfest Rock ‘n Sole part of your New Year’s resolution, registering in 2012 will save you money.
The fee for the half marathon increases from $60 to $70 on New Year’s Day and the quarter marathon price goes up from $40 to $45.
Vision Events Management will once again produce the runs over the Daniel Hoan Memorial Bridge, with the start and finish on the Henry Maier Festival Grounds. Proceeds from the races, which drew roughly 7,000 participants in 2012, will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities. The 2013 Rock ‘n Sole is scheduled for June 15.
