A beautiful course looping around Rock Lake, a stretch on the Glacial Drumlin Trail and tasty Tyranena Beer proved to be huge draws for a seventh year in Lake Mills.
Rodee Schneider, in the yellow and white singlet, outran the rest of the field in the half marathon in the Tyranena Beer Run. The 31-year-old from Appleton finished the loop in 1:16:15, about two minutes faster than Pete Metz, 36, of Germantown. Bart Gurgel, 37, of Milwaukee, finished third in 1:18:41.
